580 Tri-SLI for under £300, whats not to love
It also consumes less power than the HD7900 series too and has a PCB under 10" long.

you cant love all amd fanboys in threads like this
and they usual non-funny "jokes" like "wooden screws" - same category like "can it play crysis?" - fanboyism at its best - funniest thing, that even so called Nvidias "wooden" cards easily beat amd's plastic cards
would be nice to get such card for ~300,which is not even Nvidias high end and still managing beat amd's high end - priceless, especialy for those, who got amd's overpriced 7xxx series for 400+
As this is the spiritual GTX460/560 replacement, I cannot see it costing more than £300. With a 256bit bus and a die which is approximatley half the size of a GTX580 it should also be MUCH cheaper to produce than the GTX580's.I don't see this being under £300 surely not?! I think people might have a shock!

I think £250 to £280 will be the launch price, and if it offers GTX580 bettering performance I will probably by one or two.

That actually looks like wood.
Early mock ups will mate. They will simply put a block of MDF on a CNC machine and cut it out and decorate it to see what the card looks like.
Hence the big Fermi thing with the wood screws.
Wood is far cheaper than billet and takes far less time to cut.
The GTX670TI is probably the salvage GK104 part. CD said their were two GK104 parts, the GK104-400 and GK104-335:

I suspect he might have seen the GTX670TI,which in theory should be in between HD7950 and HD7970 performance, if the GTX680 is 10% faster in BF3 than an HD7970.
