Looks like they've made the mid range card the high end card

TBH that photo of that guy is the most reaching and embarrassing thing I have ever seen Nvidia do.
Seriously. A static bag with mystery contents and a poorly printed piece of card stuck to it?
Should've been Megan Fox wearing fewer clothes or something
10% better in BF3, 10% worse in 3DMark11.
Oh how exciting.
Yea but this line makes things seem even worse.
The rumored performance is a mixed bag between HD 7870 and HD 7970: 10% faster than Radeon HD 7970 in Battlefield 3, but 10% slower in 3DMark11
So performance can be as far down as the 7870 which says to me that this card is no monster. I think this round is going to be more about price as performance between the 2 brands should be pretty close. I think amd will still hold the performance crown with the 7970. I also think nvidia will be pretty strict with what they allow the review sites to use in the benchmark suites to make sure its close when in reality the 7970 will be more powerful than the gtx680. I could be well of the mark but all info points to this being the case.
They seem to be mixing up the 660ti/670 and 680 when talking about them - I'm assuming that the performance comment you've quoted is for the upper mid-range part not the high end - otherwise its somewhat underwhelming to say the least.
this kepler crap can go shove now, given up on it, stick with my ti for a while theres a whole world out there to explore
