The first "proper" Kepler news Fri 17th Feb?

I took pictures just in case.

On a lighter note...Should we be concerned at the amount of smoke that is coming out? A GTX480 in disguise?

iirc wasn't it iD software (Carmack specifically) who came up with adaptive v-sync for RAGE, which he worked with both nvidia and AMD to implement in their drivers?

Can some one please explain how to get that link to work?

Its the pictures I put up but I know the chap on that forum so its fine. OTH,flippingTPU probably re-edited them and then passed it off as their own since I posted the info on their forums too.

I even put a link to backup slides from another website.

Look at this picture:

I had to reduce the webpage size so I could get the pictures smaller for the screenshot.

So you are going to hand over in excess of £400 because you will be able to play Battlefield 3 at 1080p?

O.....K.

No.

If you've been reading anything I've written you'll know that I'm only waiting on Kepler to see what price drops occur on 580's so that I can buy 2 more and run either 1600p or a 3 monitor setup for BF3 and future games

my current 580 3GB cost me less than £300

Has any one managed to get the CPUZ/3Dmark 11 shot from that Chinese site to load?

I tried to view it in another tab but nothing, so I right clicked and set it to download.

135/902kb 28 mins left. Hmm.

Yes that one. Awesome thanks :)

Hmm. Odd. So the default clock is 706, but for some reason it is clocked at 1006 even though it is just sitting at a Windows desktop.

Also no Windows bar to show what apps are running other than those we see.

A 7970 at 1100Mhz gets around that GPU score. It's not bad but for me I need to see how far the 680 can clock.

Wrong, it can better it at stock, at 1100 they can get circa 13000 p score - aka most 7970's.

10979 P score on 3Dmark11 on a 7970 at stock clocks 925/1375

I call bias on the benchmarks.
