US: The Flash (2014)

They've name dropped Jessie Quick too many times for her not to become a speedster now. They've had the perfect setup with her having the velocity 9 overdose earlier on.

omg what an episode... best this season imo :D

Agreed, it had a completely different feel to it all the way through. The writers are listed as the usual suspects but the director for this episode is listed as this guy who has been a visual effects supervisor for shed loads of stuff before but this is his first time directing. If he is why the episode was like this then they need to hire him full time.

Good lord Henry might as well have just hugged Barry and said "The writers have said I need to die but you'll get a reunion with my Earth Two Counterpart next week"

Warning Comic Book Spoiler

Kind of shoe horned the origin story for Jessie Quick and Kid Flash.

Just hope the guy who plays Wally improves his acting.

RIP Barry.

Wonder how he'll come back this time. As a total non comic person I'm assuming Jessie and Wally get some speed powers now as they were hit with...whatever that was. Barry dust? :P

I'm wondering if because this time the dark matter and everything was concentrated on Barry he has become one with the Speed force, he will however find a way back and will be faster than ever before.

Also I bet the blast that went down the corridor (How did this miss everyone else in the room?) has granted both Jessie and Wally Speed force powers though they will not be as fast as Barry.

I am certain that's going to be the case. It was obvious that Wally was going to get powers some way as he was on about it. I dunno about Jesse but I guess the same.

I will say tho, I don't really want to see 3 speedsters running round like a little club. Go off and help elsewhere.

I am pretty sure next weeks episode is the one that's directed by Kevin Smith.

yeah i totally agree. It is the old Batman & Robin cliche. The family superhero group sidekick is a bad way to go imo. It always fails in the end.

Not really, the Flash family has long been a staple of DC comics until a certain person assassinated all post 1970 character growth and took all the speedsters but Barry and Fake Wally.

Well.. After watching a YouTube video yesterday I have a feeling I know who the man in the mask is.... And he is...

The Flash from the 1990s TV show. It completely fits in my opinion. A little silly but I am certain that they have been hinting at it for a while now. When they first travelled to Earth2 where Barry had flashes of people inc Killer Frost, Supergirl and... Right at the end there was a pic of the 1990s Flash In his 90s costume. As we know, the 90s Flash is played by the same actor that plays Barrys dad on the show. On top of this with Zoom saying "You wouldn't believe me if it tell you"(Who the man in the mask is) and recently Barrys dad saying his mothers maiden name was Garrick. Oh and on top of all this The Flash is currently being bought to us by the CW. IIRC the original 1990s Flash TV show was aired on CBS, the same as Supergirl so it wouldn't be unheard of that they agreed between them to the crossover Supergirl episode if they can use the 1990s Flash character... I guess time will tell.

I think we must have watched the same Youtube video. Yeah it does seem like a very plausible theory.

The real burning question throughout all of the flash is WHO IS FUNDING STAR LABS?? If that gets answered I'll happily give up on the show.

well star labs has been around for a few years run by a guy from the future so i'm sure they had a load of patent's which they would be get the royals from, and didn't the earth 1 (fake) wells leave everything to them

Yup, he left it to Barry, it was touched on for one episode that he had no idea what to do or how to pay for any of it and then never brought up again.

I can only assume all the doors were all made from some space metal that's worth an absolute fortune and they had to be sold.
