And if it was a remnant, how does he know all of the things that came after its death?
Also why didn't future pre-savitar barry allen tell him?
Too many plotholes.
Future pre-savitar Barry probably did not know, although Future pre-savitar Barry should have had the same idea to go to the future to find out who Savitar was, and Barry went back in to his normal timeline and figured it out so future pre-savitar Barry should have known who Savitar is. What 
Can Barry save Iris by killing himself like how Eddie Thawn killed himself in series 1 stopped Eobard Thawn? No future Barry to turn into Savitar to come back in time to Kill Iris? This probably won't work because of time remnants and speed force and what not though... Time travelling stuff is weird.

Nah, they referenced it so many times I can certainly see an appearance in the future.. Or past.. Errrmmmm LOL

That was such a filler episode. We finished the episode where we started, except that they've made some progress on the 'speed bazooka' (lol at the name) and it showed that Caitlin still exists in Killer Frost. Other than, it really was completely pointless.
Yup pretty much.
It's why I can't take any "deaths" in any super hero TV show seriously now, guaranteed they will bring them back one way or another and the sad thing is this is what ruins the TV shows, just look at arrow

I'm The Flash, and even though I can't use my powers to rob A.R.G.U.S. I do have this really powerful holomask to disguise my identity from the huge military organisation I'm robbing A huge military organisation that also hsppens to know that I, Barry Allen, am the Flash. So here's what I'll do, I'll beat up a couple of guards and then just discard the holomask tech. so my face shows up on every camera inside this heavily guarded and protected military facility.
