could he use the android emulator bluestacks surely it would fullscreen for 1080p at least.

Sounds like I'm in a minority of thinking it was a bit meh. Top Gear was feeling tired and out of ideas when they left and that's just transferred to Amazon IMHO.

Was watchable, and I'll be watching next week, but I'm not convinced they'll keep it interesting.
 
Thought it was entertaining enough - bit wooden but perfectly watchable

Quite happy to ha e q few car related programmes to even choose from tbh
 
I'm very late to the game but it only just dawned on me that TGT could be The Grand Tour or Top Gear Two. I'm sure that's no coincidence :D
 
Excellent episode. The celebrity stuff had me laughing but the biggest laugh was Hammond's reaction when James said "oh like a Honda Prelude"

If all 12 episodes were online now I'd binge the whole lot.
 
Formulaic, but it works and is entertaining. The chemistry between the 3 is what makes it work, and of course the huge budget makes the show look fantastic.

It will be interesting to see how it fares throughout the 12 shows, the audience laughter seemed very forced compared to when it was filmed here.

All in all im glad its back.
 
Hmm OK, so can I download it to my android phone using parents WiFi, then stream to TV using a Chromecast? I haven't got a chrome cast but my brother has. What a nightmare it is to be without fibre!
