When they reached the stage in the opening intro with the crowd like they were rockstars, and the "bants" with the american crowd. American talking stig?

Made me cringe a little. But minor in the grand scheme of things

Agreed. Minor things, but overall its good that they're back. :)

Good first episode, I didn't really "get" the star sections when they
died
I just thought it was kinda pointless. Not fussed on the
American driver
either but time will tell. Love the new track, plenty of places for errors to go quit badly wrong.

Can't wait for episode 2.

just finished watching, brilliant first episode!

Didn't like the dead celebrity bit....but aside from that, absolutely quality.

i didn't know if that did that just to put 2 fingers up the the bbc as above someone said they might have a policy not to kill the celebrities as a lot in that first 20-30 mins was just a **** take of the BBC i loved it mind :D

That was excellent. The only part I didn't like was The American who was a bit cringey. It just shows that it's the three of them that make that kind of show.

I recently bought a 4k tv and it was awesome on that!!.... Really really enjoyed that episode and cant wait for the rest! - Not having to wait till a set time to watch it was a bonus too... i like that!!!

Yes you will... midnight on Thursdays... :p

It's no different to the BBC, where if you missed it on a Sunday at 8pm then you just watch it whenever on iPlayer.

I hope they move to doing slightly less stuff in the tent though. I'd much prefer them going out and about more. Same with the track, but I guess the track and tent are cheaper to make.

Yep, that's better. Think top gear will have a very rough ride now (which isn't great for Harris as he's actually really good, will likely stop on at the mag)

Some meh bits in the tent, but over all it was great! It helped they started with the trio of hyper cars, but the teasers of other eps looked great.

These online services are really killing it at the moment, TV licence needs to go! The BBC have very little left worth watching these days imo.

Anyone managed to download this as a file and watch later? No broadband at new place yet, but have it at my parents or work. Ideally I want to download it to my phone, then stream to Chromecast. No idea how much data it would use if I used 3G for it??
