The GTR is dead! Long live the cryptolambo!

He must be Humble, he seems to live at his Nan's house. Bet she loves a trip to the Llluncheon club in the Lambo ;) :D

Dunno why who owns what and why/how is of any bother you less that person is just disagreeable in general. But nothing nice to say and it's personal, don't say it. I can't afford a poor persons car never mind a fun car, I view threads like this as a motivation than something to beat myself up over and moan about plus I feel there are other aspects of life more important.

Anyway, on topic, proper car in a proper colour. Love colourful cars, I'll be gutted when I'll likely have to buy a bland bigger car in the next year. Any plans to mod this one?

I now have strong sugary tea dripping out my nose. Thanks Housey.

Honestly, most of it is just being financially prudent, and a bit of luck. I have an excellent credit rating, dont live month to month on credit cards / overdrafts / and just live within my means and have a decent amount saved away. When you can show banks that you are a low risk customer, they line up to throw money at you for high value assets.

Just seen this thread.

Oh my, it's just so, pretty :p

I love lambo's, there's something about them, they just look and sound so different from anything else IMO.

There is one around not too far from where I live, only seen it a few times but quite often hear it in the evenings having a blast, very distinctive sound.

Not jealous at all :D

Oh yeah, I'm not a big spender as such and my only debt is my mortgage. I live well within my means as such but just not earning quite enough for the bigger savings/purchases especially with a family to look after. Wish I'd been less loyal and more tenacious in developing my career in my 20s but I do like a slower pace of life too haha. Everything's in the right place and going in the right direction. I'll likely be one of those mid-life crisis type of guys at some point and throw caution to the wind. Although mid-life for the men in my family is about my age (33) statistically so maybe I've missed it! Haha.

I was 39 when I had my first Porsche, you have time.

That'll be my age too probably. I actually crunched some numbers recently and it was truly shocking. I could be driving some serious metal if I wasn't such a dumbass in my younger years.

In my defence, I came to London at age 21 with nothing and had every man throwing credit at me, so like a typical 21 year old who's living on his own and doing everything by himself, I took it all. I lived like a sultan for a while and whilst my standards of living haven't dropped due to me deciding I want more money constantly and going for it, I can't afford the cars I would be able to had I not had the debt. Regardless, the debt did help in the long run as it motivated me to earn more, meaning that when it's all paid off I'll live like a rock star. Had it not been for the debt I'd probably have settled in to a groove of £30k a year and left it at that.

Oh we're playing that game are we? I had an Audi S2 Avant with Porsche wheels when I was 20. Sold it (what an idiot) and bought a Seat Ibiza which spanked pretty much everything bar a ridiculous turbo Kadett at the street races. Then had a R5 GTT which I totalled. Then moved to London and got married and that was the end of fun cars.

One of the best things someone has said on this forum, and it's damn true. You don't have to be mega rich to own a nice car, just very clever and cautious with money :-)

Absolutely stunning car btw - the gallardo, for me, is THE supercar I loved when I first started to get interested in cars!

Just ignore it. I ignore loads of stuff and though I never put people on ignore I find it REALLY easy not to read their content when I wish not to.
