Does anyone here with 3-4 Titan X's know what their power usage is? What PSU's are you using? Especially Kaap.
Do these actually look accurate?
I want to add a 3rd 980Ti, but not sure if my EVGA 1000W G2 can handle it. On the EVGA forums they're stating you need at least a 1500W PSU or you'll blow your system under load :/

Just beat my best score.
Power usage was 1480 Watts max
I am going to do another run with the cards at stock and the CPU @4.0
That's a ******** Monster Kaap! UGH! Really not helping me want a 3rd 980Ti now.
That power draw though, bloody hell! You might need 3-phase power installed in the house if you get some Quad AMD cards next
Just ran my EVGA SC TXs @stock and 5960X @4.0 on the same bench and power usage was 1220 Watts.
So Firestrike Ultra. Hmm, 1220 isn't bad at all for them.
I think I'd be fine with a EVGA 1200W Platinum rated PSU for 3 Superclocked 980Ti's then and my CPU at 4.3Ghz. Or would the 1300W be better just in case?
1200W should be ok but I would still get a 1300W PSU as it will run more efficient and probably a bit cooler as it won't be flat out.
You should save a bit of power usage on your CPU as well as it won't use as much as an 8 core 5960X.
Disable SLI, then disable the primary card in device managerHow did you guys get your second Witcher 3 code from the promotion on SLI setups ?
I tried uninstalling/installing Geforce Experience but it shows no rewards available.
Alrighty. Kinda gutted I didn't go for the 1300W when I built the system in February. Then again since the 980 was so power efficient I didn't think the Titans would be so much more powerful.
The EVGA 1300W does well for Ole JonnyGuru. Pity they don't make a 1300W Platinum PSU.

Personally I would at least try the 1000w and see how it copes before a purchase...

When it goes boom , you can be sure it uses more than that.
Under water if you're going for max clocks you'll need a better bios than the SC ones, cyclops is good.
