The GTX Titan X owners thread.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, the 1080(s) won't kill off the Titan Xs as they do different jobs.

1. You can use up to 4 TXs in SLI compared to 2 way SLI for the 1080

2. 12gb of VRAM trumps 8gb at high resolution in a mGPU setup.

Having said that when the full fat Pascal cards arrive next year it will be a different story.

Again with this nonsense that only applies to you.......

Do you see anyone else here with 4x TitanX? No. Your literally posting information as fact, when it only appplies to 0.0001% of the population that's prepared to spend £4k on graphics cards to play games.

4x1080 (with normal SLI connectors) will outperform 4XTitans. Remember NVIDIA publicly said than the 1070 is faster than the TitanX, so the 1080 is faster again etc.

Plus once Pascal releases, the vast majority of driver optimizations/development will be for Pascal cards. So won't matter how much VRAM your Titans have when the drivers are garbage for future titles.

Have Nvidia stated 2 way sli is max? I thought it was said one of the reviewers asked if 3 sli worked and they got the answer yes.

12GB Can trump 8GB yes ,, will depend on driver optimisation which i think nividia will let favour the 1080's, in saying that i expect titan 'x's at least to still be sold for awhile due to that 12GB premium Nvidia charge

Please do something constructive in your posts and show me where it says you can use ordinary SLI connectors with these Pascal cards. I have checked the specs on the NVidia website and there was no mention of 4 way SLI support for the cards.

The only references I have seen to SLI is 2 way with those special enhanced bridges that use both fingers for extra bandwidth.

I also don't understand what your problem is with me or Titan Xs, perhaps you should discuss it with the Dons.

I would also like to point out this is the TitanX owners thread and no place for baiting people about the cards.

I hope you can use ordinary SLI connectors with the cards as this will make life very interesting.:)

saw it this morning around £540-670

If I can get £550 minimum I'll be happy. Just do not think it will. One of mine is on there now. A day or so left. No bids yet but I have set a minimum of £500. LOL. If it does not sell now I will keep it. I rather suspect it won't sell.

Actually not that bothered. The only reason I was flogging one was due to the fact that one TX was plenty fine with my new X34 GSync monitor. Don't get me wrong, 2 TX's are even more amazing with GSync. I was not planning on upgrading to the 1080 but would definitely be interested in a ti or Titan variant.

4way T-X is crazy can only run games at 4K 60 FPS.. So not many people will have more then 2..
I had 2 sold one happy with one..

But the panic selling frenzy going on now is crazy..

I will wait for Full fat card next year..

What you guys running for 24/7 gaming?

Ive got a hybrid Running 1378mhz
+201 core +201 mem with stock Evga Bios and stock volts..

Do you guys think the Mem could over clock higher? or is this big enough?

Saw one go for £600 earlier on the bay. TBH I'm going to keep mine for a while as its handling 3440x1440 on my X34 just fine with Gsync. Once the proper benchies are out and some third party versions I might pick one up but I'm not in a hurry. All those people complaining they will lose money on a 14 month old GPU should not of bought one in the first place. It is not,nor was ever meant to be a good value card

Seems like there was like a 6 day window to sell for good money, glad I got in there then.
It was you that started this Mr ironcross, and I saw how much yours went for.

I just read the market well as i seen no Titan Xs instock online in the UK..
New card was due for summer so i sold mine got good money was happy..

Did not use SLI much anyway and i had it for over a year..

Lucky you followed my advice and sold yours.. did you sell 2 hybrids?

so i see you will be getting the 1080 then :)
