The GTX Titan X owners thread.

I'm just going to keep both of mine, I can't be bothered splitting the loop to sell just the one and I'm in no need for the money. They will stay in the PC for now. Really should finish Arkham Knight, plus Doom is out soon.

Well sold all three of my Titan X. Worked out after fees, shipping etc, made £720 on each. Paid £829 brand new so £110 loss on each which in the grand scheme of thing for used cards is not too bad really.

Expect the 1080 will outperform the Titan X and not be quiet as much so should pocket some cash for a bit more performance, plus shiny is always good :D

Start getting all my benches done to compare with the 1080 when I get it, before this weekend when handing over the last card!

£720 after fees and shipping? How the heck... you managed to find 1, 2 or 3 chumps there dude... well done.

Nice on water? I did not want to flash mine incase i had to RTM
So happy enough at this.. could i push mem to 4000 do you think? should i increase in 25mhz at a time?

I'm using the EVGA Hybrid AIO cooler, keeps the core below 54C (in this weather) and using the infrared thermometer the vram never hits 70c so happy with that.

By all means push the memory most cards see 3800mhz easy enough, pop it up 50mhz at a time from there and bench test and game till it falls over then drop it 25mhz. Tbh the difference between 3800mhz and 4000mhz is only a couple of fps, but I "like to think I'm getting my moneys worth" *whistles McDonalds tune*.

I'm betting at 1080@ 1800mhz won't see my TX off.

First went for £895 in person, paypal gift so no fees / shipping, so admittedly skewed the value :D Titan X SC was going for around a £1000, threw in a backplate, sorted.

Had 50% off fee voucher for 5 items on the bay, so used two of those those for the last two Titan X's.

You can get flashes with safe amounts of volt increase, you don't have to go crazy, my flash supports up to 1550 core only a small increase on volts. As you know you have to keep an eye on the temps, but not just the core, vram can get hot, as long as that's ok everything is still safe.

High core clocks really helped my fps in 4k, sometimes adding 10-15% fps over a 1400mhz clock. Doesn't sound a lot but it's the difference between gsync struggling at 39fps and running nice and easy at 45fps in AAA ultra games.
