The High-Res Screenshot Thread!

.....and that's the best screenie you could come up with?!?!?

Looks like a bug got stuck to the lens whilst taking a photo of Birmingham on a cloudy day.....:D

I agree. ;) If we're to see some cinematic mod shots, lets make them pretty please. :D

I need to be convinced to take up 10GB of my hard drive.

Its definately worth ALL 10gb:) I've just caned my way through HL2 and Ep1 in a couple of days and am getting stuck into ep2. The source engine still looks good:

Sorry about the small photos. The game compresses it's screenshots :(

Use fraps and to be honest I think the source engine has had the most realistic textures. It's not all shiny like some games seem to suffer from such as oblivion.

I'll give fraps a go. TBH, he used some massively hi res textures in the cinematic mod. I've taken some propper saddo screenshots of things like brickwork etc lol!

Without going off topic too much, its photobucket resizing my screenshots when it uploads them rather than HL2 compressing them. Anyway of making sure it uploads at the full res?.

don;t use photobucket for a start expecially for large images they'll quickly reach the bandwidth cap.

Could never get into Morrowind, i'd already played Oblivion and felt like a step back, even with the Graphics Extender.

It was mostly the lack of NPC's walking around (most towns looked deserted) and lack of speech. Felt less interactive

Oh man, Morrowind.. bought it out of a PCZone recommendation.. not knowing what I was going into.. next thing I knew, I could drink legally..

There is a huge frame hit when I look out to red mountain. Everything is sort of rendered but somethings aren't and are fully loaded when you move closer. MGE is awesome. :)

Facility was also good.

And a re-imagined runway.

All in all this is a good mod, all it needs is more players and servers.

Its usualy people of a certain age that have a soft spot for goldeneye, the n64 was awesome. :D
