The " Hiper-Active " Club

i have had one about 10 month and its still going (it was bought from the MM second hand so i assume its over 12 month old)

its been ran pretty much 24/7 for those 10 month too, :D

The Hipher in my sig is roughly 27 months old, so its quite a veteran compared to the others posted, and its still pulling the same voltages on all rails as day 1

Must have had mine a good 6 months now (if not longer), running 24/7 (save holidays away) and with the overclocks and kit listed in my sig.. no signs of any problems so far.

My old PSU started making a heck of a racket on night, so i had to rush out and get a new PSU.. the Hiper was the only non-generic I could get my hands on in a hurry..

I've had mines for more than 6months now. Been running my computer non-stop and i must say i'm very happy with my psu.

Although i'm happy with my psu, i have a feeling it could go down any time soon (not because its a hiper psu, just that its been running for a long time)
and might take my other components along.

Overall, very happy with my psu. :)

Mines close to 10 months old, Hiper 4B580 Mk V2 Type R.

Originally bought a case with a PSU in it, PSU turned out to be duff so ran out and bought the first PSU I could get my hands on whichturned out to be a £30 Q-tec 640W. (Hey I was a PC building spud newbie back then.)

Read a lot about rubbish PSUs on the internet and decided to upgrade to this on my old P4 P5ND2 SLI rig. This allowed me to run a 3.6Ghz stable overclock, the Q-tec only allowed 3.2Ghz.

It's quiet, looks great and has done the business without fault.

First batch of T-Shirts shall be along soon. Choose your slogan

'I love my Type-R'

'I am chipper about my hiper'

Hiper-active! Love the logo, tis awesome. Had my Hiper till about 2 days ago when I traded her for a graphics card, think I had her running 10 months in all, with the previous owner riding her for 3/4 months prior to that. Can I join? :p

Got mine ( black 580 type r modular), but just not installed yet (new, long, build). Read a lot of good reviews, and a freind has had one for over a year and its still doing great.

Almost sent it back after reading all the negative stuff on these forums, but have decided to stick it out and find out myself. Thanks for the thread, starting to think I was right. I mean, the things a best buy in a lot of magazines!

Had mine for about 6 months or so (from first C2D batches) and its run fine, Hiper Modular 580W black chrome one.
I was dissapointed I had to link 2 rails togeather to run one of my SLI cards, and not have 2 individual cables dedicated to powering the graphics cards.
I would recommend people pay attention to the wiring guidelines as I could easily see people putting to many devices in one long link!

See sig for spec
