Any plans on putting this on the Mac?
there has been a reply to this on the forums anyone who brought anything last twenty four hrs it is logged and sorted . so dont worry you wont lose anything .
servers back up and running with all latest updates
the head person plays it on a mac heres his response
I'm playing it on my MacBook Pro from 2008 using Boot Camp and Windows 7.
However, it's not possible to play as a native MacOSX application.
Will you ever incorporate it so it is playable on MAC?
Ever is a long time. But there are no current plans to port it to Mac.
so depends what os
Yeah but thats not really the point.
The have a stupid system.
Firstly there should be a note on the homepage advising members that there was a patch being released and at what time.
Players should have been disconnected at that time, the database should have been backed up. Then release patch. Restart/test then reopen at X time.
Yes, due to the issues it would still have taken the same time to restore the backup, however none of their member base would have lost anything. I understand its a small team etc, but that doesn't excuse not having proper processes in place.
And even then, there can be issues. We do a release a week on average, and half of those need patching or rolling back, but its a quick and safe process.
EDIT you should change your sig to link to your webpage, saves lazy so and so's like me having to type it in
Timely bump!
I reinstalled this this week, after not being on it for about a year or more and I think I need to give my GFX card a clean out. FAN ramped right up and I started getting odd GFX glitches, still had them in windows, firefox etc after quitting. Manually ramped the fan up to cool it down then rebooted, which cleared the glitches in windows but not tried the game again yet. Been playing BC2 tonight with no issues so the card still seems ok.
Might sign up for another month or so and try out some of the new additions. What are the portable hides and tree platforms like to use?
