Quick question is this multiplayer/coop/MMO?

I mean when I go into a map, is that map inhabited by other players? So i can see them etc... or is everything solo and just stats uploaded to a main database?
 
Tempted by this.

Really like the idea of being stealthy and properly hunting. Although from what I've read it seems massively technical and I'm worried that will suck the fun out of it for me?

It will take a little getting used to but is far from massively technical. It takes time. But is a very rewarding game. Remember that its free to play although you only get to hunt mule deer. But its a great way too start.

No you get to hunt properly although you only get to use one rifle but that is really less important in this game. You get on one island and only get to hunt the mule deer. But in terms of stalking your prey you get the full experience.
