The BBC have verified some of these threatening/abusive messages so there is clearly some substance to it. His BBC colleagues are reporting him for dodgy behaviour now too.

Depends whether by 'dodgy' you mean something actually illegal or just something the public find distasteful.

It's seems entirely probable he's been messaging teenagers, paying for pictures etc.

Although, if you're in the BBC you probably need to be a bit more kosher than that.

Think the Sun is gonna have more than a lawsuit to deal with. If the allegations made were false, there could be criminal charges as well especially with the state that Huw is in according to his wife.

It is weird that the Sun has made no effort to interview said people who made the allegations or the person who is alleged responsible or asked for a statement of sorts. Its like someone just threw a story in to rile up the crowd, get some publicity and hope the whole thing gets blown over.

Of course, he can't release a statement because "muh mental health" excuse but he seems to have had time to cover his tracks a bit.

IF the parents/mother in the first case reported has exaggerated it and he didn't receive pics until the young person was over 18 that's still sleazy... throw in the allegation of him DMing another young person aged 17 on Instagram and you've gotta wonder if anything else sleazy would have turned up re: his likes or DMs.
