I'm absolutely loving the notifications, both on the lockscreen and the banners. I can actually get email alerts and directly open them now with a simple swipe!

They actually hired the guy that designed the Jailbreak version to implement it into iOS5 - pretty cool.

Question: I've been a MobileMe/.mac member since 2006.
When trying to log in to iCloud on my iPad (iOS 5), it says my account isn't an iCloud one?![]()

This coming Wednesday, 12 October, is going to be one of the biggest software release days in Apple’s history. Probably the biggest. Think about it: iCloud goes live, iOS 5.0 is released, Lion gets a 10.7.2 update to support iCloud, iTunes (for Mac and Windows) gets an update to support both iOS 5 and iCloud, the iOS iWork apps get an update to support iCloud document storage, Find My Friends hits the App Store, and probably a few more that I’m not remembering. Oh, yeah, Cards, the greeting card app and mailing service.

Is anyone else having problems with iOS5/iPhone 4 on Three?
After restore, I got an alert saying that carrier settings could not be applied. I dismissed it, and all seemed to be working ok.
However today I discovered that I no longer have the settings in the options for Personal Hotspot. I assume this is due to not having the correct carrier settings as Three allow it, but I cant seem to find a way to try updating the carrier settings again. Any ideas?
The jailbreaking community has had this feature for a very very very VERY long time and its an app called Lockinfo
Its only taken Apple 2yrs......
