with icloud, can you share whats on your computer with devices ?
ie a folder with pics on my computer ? like idisk

You can only share photo's (photo stream)
find my friends will be released on public release.

so really the only benefits of icloud is when you have 2 or more idevices running ios5 ?

No

When you have iCloud set up on Windows it puts a folder in your My Pictures, inside is one folder for Photo Stream Downloads (i.e. stuff taken on your devices) and another folder for you to drop pics in to be uploaded to the Photo Stream.

Kinda related to iOS 5 since it involves iCloud...

I've finally moved all my MobileMe stuff over to iCloud now and it's setup fine on my phone. However, on Lion all my accounts have disappeared inside System Preferences -> Mail, Contacts & Calendars (yet still active in Mail, iCal, etc..) and am stuck trying to authenticate my iCloud account whenever I try and add it

Has anyone else migrated over and running Lion?

Hmm just had a message form my Beta iTunes "This copy of iTunes will expire soon" Guessing that's referring to the impending final release of iOS5 and the new iTunes on thursday?

You'd need the iCloud beta to install on Lion, or just wait for 10.7.2 - which I'm sure will be out this week too.

I think iDisk is gone. Forever. Don't quote me but they have mentioned nothing about bringing that back.

Well I'm already running an older build of 10.7.2, trying to get 11C73 installed which may possibly ending up being the GM and public release.

11C73 is GM.

If you have a dev account you can download the iCloud beta add-on (which puts an iCloud panel into System Prefs) from the Member Center.

10.7.2 11C73 GM has it built into System Prefs.

I'm still on 11C57 and it's all working fine. That said, I did the MobileMe -> iCloud transition on the Mac and then set up iPhone/iPad.

What does it say when you go into MobileMe preferences?
