The new UI is on both the iPad and iPhone. It's probably the best update they've done. Now, let's see how stable it is...

For the beta users, did it slow down the 4 at all? Is it a worthwhile upgrade?

Not at all, and hell yes. It's not a beta anyway, it's the release version that will be shipped with new phones.

I assume more widgets will come with time? Just that my notification center looks a bit sparse at the moment.

Hopefully app developers will be doing their own widgets.

Could be AM or PM. Who knows until it's there on iTunes. I can see it been flooded as usual and slow downloads on day of the release.

Presumably they'll be putting iTunes 10.5 up too or maybe before iOS. Since 10.5 is needed it would make sense to make it available prior to iOS. Tonight maybe?

I think it's going to be tonight too so people can prepare their PC for the update. I recon between 6-8PM.

quick question
ive sold my pc and ive not got a replacemnet laptop yet.
im in the process of backing up my data to a potable hdd
whats the best way to ensure i dont loose anything other than put it on the hdd
i cant add the entire itunes lib to my phone and then when my laptop comes sync my phone to laptop ( doesnt work like that does it ?
