It's also been confirmed that the md5 of the GM and todays release is identical, so no need to re-download!

Hmmm ... mines only reporting 3hrs to go for the download for my iPad (1)

First time I've plugged it in in ages and see I have a load of apps to update to (wouldn't let me as there was no space free at all on it until I deleted some video just now) ...

Trust me its a nightmare. I spent like 5 hours of my life getting everything working properly (including the jailbreak :rolleyes:

why cant I transfer my purchased apps to itunes. says that I need to authorise the computer but it already is authorised. so if I upgrade I'll lose all my apps. itunes is pathetic.

The file size and the MD5 hash of the GM and the ipsw downloaded via iTunes is EXACTLY the same (for the iPhone 4)

Files size = 811,948,143 bytes
MD5 = 8ac7ae6a7f6fadbd34ba9abacd15e2dc
