Quite, not forgetting 3g users can expect a few of those things in the OS 3.0 update. I really hope the rumours are all true because they don't make me want to upgrade from my 3g at all. Tbh I'm more interested in seeing how the Palm Pré performs once released.

So there is a bigger CPU and more RAM, the logo on the back will glow...
Yet somehow they are able to get extra life from the battery, not too sure I believe that, not heared of any great leaps in batteries lately? I could be wrong thought, hope so as I would be tempted by that spec, and my contract will be due an upgrade around then.

That article says when it's released in the states, it'll be on a 2-year contract.

How does that work if they release another version next year? Or do you think it's unlikely?

OLED uses very little battery compared to traditional screens and they may have increased the capacity slightly.

Battery tech has also increased significantly over the past year so that also helps a great deal.
