*** The iPhone 3G S Thread - All iPhone 3G S Related Stuff In Here ***

Just noticed they charge more for the tariffs. They are charging me £45/month when I'm sure O2 only wanted £44.01 or something like that. Or is £45/month just written to make things easier?

I hope they're not a dodgy company, no "my account" or anything on the webpage.

They're owned by Carphone Warehouse, and the prices they've listed are the 17.5% prices. The contract is actually with O2, so it's O2 that do all the billing etc so it's the same pricing as on the O2 website.

Like most large companies (well the carphone warehouse in general :p ) they seem to get a number of negative reviews. I've just got a text telling me my orders gone to the warehouse for shipping tomorrow and delivery on Friday. Hopefully that's correct!

Just ordered mine too - so with quidco it will work out to be £120, not too bad but I guess the £60 will be spent on accessories...

Apple iPhone 3G S 32GB Black on O2 on O2 @ £175.19 x 1 =175.19
Gadget Phone Support: first month FREE @ £ 0.00 x 1 = 0.00
PhoneCare Insurance: first month FREE, @ £ 0.00 x 1 = 0.00

Did use the promo code so got the BT headset but its not on my email order . Deffo was in my shopping basket though...

Am using Barclays Additions Active for £14 a month to cover the phone and stopping my existing insurance so thats all fine too...

Cheers Guys for the help...

Hiya,

We process over 25,000 orders per month. Ciao attracts poor reviews but no good ones, unfortunately.

Ben

I know I'm sorry for posting negative comments, I'll remove them. I've already asked the mods to delete another thread.

As it happens I managed to get through to customer services fairly quickly but judging from what other people have said I feel quite lucky.

I'll replace my order shortly as the £60 Quidco deal isn't one to miss.

Hey, negative (constructive) comments help, a lot; I'm aware of Ciao and I'm working to make sure we get a balanced opinion on there.

We are struggling with the iphone launch and customer call volumes, we've always run a tight online business backed up by a small team answering the phones but more and more people are wanting to phone us up rather than use the website. Again, it's a problem we're working on.

I'm on [email protected] if you have any problems.

Bah I spoke too soon - my payment was declined as my CC issuer thought it was a fraudlent payment (guess buying a mobile phone can appear dodgy) so having to call Mobiles.co.uk tomorrow to get it sorted out (Ben Mobile - Im gonna drop you a mail if thats ok).

Any ideas if this will invalidate my Quidco or delay despatch - will be up at 8am to call up and confirm payment.

Ben - any idea if the fact that my order has been sent to the warehouse means that I'm actually going to get an iPhone for Friday, or is it still first come first served and you don't know how many you're being allocated? :)

Yep all sorted from their side - first thing I did...

Did drop you email forwarding on the mail I got regards the card issues too...

Will be a bit gutted if I dont get this on Friday :(
