Man of Honour
No you'll be able to pop it straight in
so basicly you ended up with 2 free iphones? or did they make you send them back?
Does anyone know what happens to your existing contract with O2 if you get a new iphone contract from online? Im out of contract now and just pay monthly. I presume they just auto switch? Or do i end up with 2 bills?
Why isn't voice control on the 3G? Surely this is just software?
I hate Apples pricing strategies...case point is why they got rid of the 16GB iPhone. Just for profit! Just seems like Apple does too much profiteering on there pricing nowadays.
I do understand that they are a company that sells stuff and want profit but they take the mickey...
Well after a few phone calls between O2 and mobiles.co.uk it turns out i need my PAC code to take my O2 number from O2 to give back to O2 for my iphone tariff.
Utter madness. Getting an iphone from mobiles.co.uk (Carphone Warhouse) who are O2 means i have to move my number via Pac from O2 to......O2.
The lunatics have finally managed to complete their take over of the asylum. Its been a long time coming but they have won!
Anyone know the latest on upgrading from a 3g to the 3gS, i have 6months left on my contract... can i just go in and upgrade like i did to the 3g?
Nice to see the Dev Team have got a software unlock for the 3G 3.0 basebands... too. Looking forward to tomorrow's software update now
You'll have to buy yourself out of your contract (6 x your rate) then get a new contract.
Or you can buy the phone on PAYG and whack your SIM in it.
Just hang out until your contract expires in jan/feb 2010 and then wait for the next phone in June - it'll be a bigger leap then the 3Gs, which is just a GTI version of the 3G.Dam it, at £400 for the phone its really not worth it.
Well I just pre-ordered the iPhone 3Gs 32gb via mobiles.co.uk. The £60 cashback through quidco and the fact that I'm fed up of my WM crashing all the time swung it for me
To anyone else that's pre-ordered how long did it take for your order status to update from "order received"?
How do you get thatDecided to do the same. £60 cash back - rude not to.
I'm only worried about the hassle of cancelling the insurance and support things.
