I'm just not sure how much use I would get out of it. I'd love to take videos of my mates out on the boat but after my 3G got soggy I'm reluctant to take it out any more.

Got to the Bath O2 store at 9:15, was out by 9:25 with a shiny new PAYGO 32GB.

Bit annoyed that they made me top up by £10 when I'm gonna be using the contract sim out of my 16GB 3G. :rolleyes:

Then upto school for 6th form clearance. :(

What? Cant you just say no to the £10 top up? They can't make you do that can they? Spose £10 squid is like meh, if your paying 500 odd for the phone..

Reading this thread was tempted for a few minutes to buy the PAYG one, but common sense is....was...is taking hold again..:rolleyes:
 
Just rang up O2. Cancelled my old contract for £22 which was less than I expected. Just waiting for my black 32gb to arrive which should hopefully only be a couple of days.

Right:
3G off, 3G sim in 3GS. Plug into MacBook Pro. 3GS boots up. "Plug in cable". THE CABLE IS PLUGGED IN!!
Reboot 3GS. "Plug in cable". Unplug and replug in cable. "Plug in cable". Manually open iTunes. "Plug in cable".
:(

Rebooted MacBook Pro (and took the sim out and back in) and its now "Restore in Progress".

But those problems...... reminded me of my PC days :p
 
Just got mine from Carphone Warehouse and am desperately trying to install iTunes on my work PC :p

The nicest thingi s that all my contacts should automatically sync as I have a mobileme account as well. Awesomecakes.

Guys - quick case question, if I get a case will it stop the connectors working with standard accessories.

New to the iPhone but I want to protect it to promote resale valout ue but not to affect day to day use. Am getting a screen protector but case-wise I was gonna get a Switcheasy but unsure about capability with other standard accessories (like the dock)

Any ideas if Im worrying over nothing - just want a case bought before I go out later...

EDIT: Considering MobileMe myself - loved the idea when it first came out...
