I went for the £45 a month, Only £80 more over the 18months and I wont get stung if I go over my minutes (last month a 1hr 20min call was £14 ! )

if the £45 was the other way around with more texts and less minutes i'd be buying already.

maybe i'll wait and see if they can be jailbroken! and go from there

But why would you want to unlock/jailbreak a phone you have to sign a contract to buy anyway?

Mine was CPW and I'm a new customer.

It's not ring and reserve. It's ring and they will either deliver it to your home or to a store of your choice. The difference is that it probably won't be there for opening, depending upon when the courier gets there.

I called up and asked if I could reserve a 16gb for collection tomorrow morning. They said "sure, no problem" took my details and said I had until 8pm tomorrow to collect it, otherwise they'd offer it to other customers.

I'm a new customer too.

So what actually is the difference between getting it at O2 and getting it at CPW?

I have no idea what the difference is...I'm guessing nothing at all as you're still getting an O2 Iphone, just from a different place?

The difference is that you'll be a CPW customer dealing with CPW customer services rather than an O2 customer dealing with O2 directly. O2 won't even speak to your contract won't be with them.

That isn't true any more is it? I don't think CPW do direct billing like they used to these days.

I'm hoping that I won't have to deal with their customer services too much

My only problem with them was getting my PAC code when I wanted to go to Vodafone. They were very inconsistent in their story, promising things and then not delivering. Eventually I had to write to them and the whole process took three weeks.

As mentioned above, they used to have a similar set-up with Vodafone, but they made usch a hash of it that Voda pulled out as soon as they could.

Mind, CPW aren't having the same issues with Talk Talk and probably aren't as stretched in terms of resources as they were then.

Ordered a 16GB through the CPW at 13:00 today and order still showing as 'Ordered'. Has anyone received an email saying their order has been processed without having to phone them up?

I did mine over the phone as I couldn't find anywhere it put my PAC into the web order form.

Same for me and my girlfriend, our order numbers are a single number apart as well because we ordered at the same time. I am guessing we won't get emails until they start processing them. I did phone up CPW earlier and ask them when it will be processed, they said it would be ready to collect tomorrow (opted for store collection as I'm not at my home address at the moment) so I'm guessing that's a good sign.
