The last game you completed, and rating (Console Edition)

Silent Hill 2 Remake - Brilliant. Improved on the original for me. 9/10

Still wakes the deep - I was recommended it off of the back of Soma. It was similar in a gameplay type of way but not in an existential questions type of way. Pretty good. 6.5/10.

I loved SOMA, it's on my list of games I'd play for the first time again after a Men In Black memory wipe :D

Sniper Elite 5 - 8.5/10

Coming straight in from SE4 I struggled with the very first mission massively. By the 2nd and 3rd missions the game was fine and just improved with each successive map. Kill animations are clunky and movement can be a bit stiff but gameplay is sound. Tempted to do a replay but might wait for the season pass to be cheaper.

I am torn as to what I prefer SE4 or 5 - both are superb with excellent base PS5 60fps performance. SE5 has much larger scale maps, with a upgraded engine that looks great whereas 4 was straight up fun gameplay and easier to play. Either way both games are brilliant and 4 was my first introduction to the games.

Persona 3 Reload. Brilliant. Repetitive but if you’re OK with that then well worth it for the characters and story. Dialled down the difficulty towards the end as I was getting insta killed too much. Loved it though. 73 hours to the end. Got the good ending achievement as well even though I didn’t know it was a thing.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 next up. My 3rd attempt! Need to embrace the jank!

Cyberpunk. For all it’s flaws, I loved it 9/10

I bought it at release on the PS4 and was so offended by the state of it, I've refused to play it. Its my ideal game though and I know they've sorted it all out! I need to give it another go.
Just completed Cyberpunk 2077 DLC last week and the main game this weekend and loved it, thought it was brilliant. Experienced some minor bugs and performance issues, but loved the setting and characters. Roll on the sequel in 10 years time :D

Alan Wake 2 - 6/10.
Rose DLC Episode - 10/10.
Other DLC - 8/10

The game was quite a unique experience, but I actually found the majority of the game tedious and Alan’s sections pretty hard going with the pseudo babble. Saga’s mind place, while cool at first, also grew tedious and a saga in its own right. The jump scare flashes were plain annoying after a while. There are better ways to be ‘scary’.

Then I played the Rose ‘Night Springs’ episode and all was forgiven :)

Glad it wasn't just me who found AW2 average at best, I found playing as Saga the most enjoyable and found the the Alan sections confusing at best most of the time, I feel like they were trying to be too clever and convoluted with the story overall. The game does look great and very atmospheric which I appreciated and the actual game play was enjoyable however.
