To be fair the story isn't anything special and it is a short game. Don't agree about the test rooms though as that basically made the game. Fun game but it's nothing special. I'd probably give it a 7.5/10 purely down to the gameplay being fun and being able to mess around with the portals.


It's hardly a masterpiece of modern gaming...
 
Dirt Showdown. 5/10

Very glad i only paid a fiver for this

gameplay is mildly ok, but i think it's a step in the wrong direction with the entire Dirt series tbh, 90% of tracks are just copy and paste jobs from Dirt 2 and 3, with additional jumps and crap placed here and there. Cars are nothing to write home about and the prize money for winning anything is just dire.
needless to say, main game completed with gold on pretty much everything bar i think 1 of the stupid Gymkhana events took 7 hours roughly.

Hopefully, CM are working frantically away on some new content and modes for Dirt 4,

I played Portal 1, completed it and never played it again.

I enjoyed it but don't get the hero worship it gets, it was just an alright game.

Deus Ex HR - Awesome game overall! Very fun, especially playing stealthy it gets quite a challenge :D

Borderlands 8.5/10.

Many hours spent playing this games, very enjoyable and will get another play through at a later date. I was going to get more into DoW but started Trine instead this evening and it's looking good so far.

Agreed, I think it's a much better game and story, and general all round better package then the first.

Anyway my last 2 completely games:

Max Payne 3 - 8.5/10

Would probably have scored it 9/9.5 if it hadn't have been for some bits that were truly cheaply difficult even on normal difficulty. Enjoyed it immensely though :D, and probably will go for another run through down the line. Playing the other 2 first this time (played them years ago and loved them both, but didn't play them through again prior to picking this up).

Driver: San Francisco - 8/10

Solid game. Enjoyed it for the most part, even completed all of the dares and little extra missions too :). May have been bordering on a 9 if it wasn't for the damn crappy cheap a** last mission or 2 with the
homing car flinging and other cheap tactics that make you fail the mission a million times before getting lucky enough to complete it...
Rant over :D. Good game though :p
 
I'm paying through these. Some of the best games ever made imo. Number 2 is a 10.
