The Last of Us Part II

I'm installing now, though, I'm in Aus. Work drinks this arvo though, so will hopefully not be too sloshed when I get back to start playing :)

She I see, I recent bought an old and playing far cry 5 was hard (even at 8pm on a night) due to that. I had to turn the brightness up on the game. I'm currently in the process of getting a mancave built so I'll have the perfect setup.
 
Well my smart plan epically failed as all I did at 3am was turn my alarm off and fall asleep :p

Just played 90 minutes of it and really enjoying it, and it just got interesting, now have to go to work for the longest day ever!
 
Oh lordy, reading the forums and reddit this morning....... Hate to say it, but people were warned..... :D

I have been banging on about this to my other half for years. She never understood (she isnt really a gamer).

Then just recently she started playing Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Hahaha. NOW she gets it! :p

Get some black out curtains my friend. Nothing more to say! :D

If you don't mind seeing spoilers, have a look on reddit etc. and see all the live reactions etc. to the story and the plot holes etc.

Sadly the comparisons to GOT season 8 are accurate.

Well, it was obviously going to be review bombed but that's not a biggie.

Somehow it came out worse than the leaks suggested. I also love how Druckmann utilised some subtle means of "subverting expectations" in one of the trailers.

It has great level design and some good moments, the gameplay practically hasn't evolved so if you can do that for 25h and are not allergic to random, asinine writing, then it might even be a 7.

All those people are going to rate it 1s to make a statement but it's obviously not a 1. It's just completely unneeded and laughably written.
 
Installing now. Let's see what all the fuss is about.

If people's issue is just with the story, I couldn't care less. It's ND's story to tell. As long as the gameplay is fun. Unfortunately I've got futsal tonight, so will likely not get a chance to play it until tomorrow.

Lets be honest, the gameplay wasn't exactly amazing for the first one but it was the characters, the story that made the game what it is.

However, tlou 2, well........ story is beyond awful, literally is 2 fingers to the fanbase, rather amusing seeing the original last of us subreddit too.

The only thing that will bring the game up to a 6 or a 7 is for the graphics & design of the game world.
