Might be some genuine reviews mixed in with the garbage but you only need to have read Reddit last week to know there are thousands of people so butthurt about the story they were planning to create multiple accounts and down rate it the second it came out.

Hell, you only need to read the last few pages of this thread to know people already made up their mind not to buy the game yet keep posting in a desperate attempt to tell us how bad it is :o

Yeah it's weird. I mean it's not like they paid to see how bad it is. If they had paid and then hated it then that would make more sense.

You do realise 99% of those reviews are from people / companies that have been paid by Sony to give it a high score?

Mainstream sites like IGN / Kinda Funny / Eurogamer are totally in Sony's pocket and won't dare say a bad word from fear of being blacklisted.

Should be obvious to all how concerned NG were considering these reviews weren't even allowed to "review" the game properly and had to base their articles on a slice of gameplay lmao.

And also because they aren't allowed to talk or give any mention of the last half of the game lel
 
I'll wait for someone to do a no talking playthrough and catch it that way, couldn't get into the first so watched someone else play it and treated it like a TV show.

Indeed we get it, these individuals don't like the story direction but continue posting the same inane drivel every few posts, guess they get their kicks that way!

Anyway back to the game played an hour or so last night and felt right at home. Looking forward to getting stuck in properly this weekend.

The enemies are just so goddamn dumb! and the writing is rough to say the least. Still enjoyable for the world exploration tho, the environmental art is fantastic.
