TLOU isn't exactly live happily ever after story land, it's a brutal violent dog-eat-dog world. Nothing wrong with the way the story has gone.
Yeah the cutscenes are fantastic.
Its not the "tone" I feel people are having an issue with at all. And that "dog eat Dog world" that Joel exhibited by trusting no one at all gets thrown out the window.
I know it's not the tone, it's that one defining moment of the game they are having a problem with, which is why I said the story is in line with the brutal world TLOU is and shouldn't be a happy ending story.
Joel didn't trust though did he, just found himself in a situation, if that's what you mean.
Yea, still doesnt make any sense, as its just the beginning of it.
Yeah it is, but it's set the tone for the whole game.
I just wish I'd been shocked/surprised but I wasn't, because of people watching the leak and then commenting in here I was literally waiting for it to happen.
They have ruined that moment, that's what has ****** me off more than anything about the game.

Has anyone noticed how eerie the way the directional sound is trying to find where and how many clickers there were? There was one area trying to listen for them that sounded like 4 instead of 2 and these sounded so creepily close.
What was actually happening their cries were bouncing down the hallways which was an interesting little detail.

He got to the end, fell silent and took the disc out and started cutting it up, didnt seem that busy in the stream, think he was a Korean streamer, but funny to watch. Angry Joe also go to a point he just handed the controller to his friend and stopped playing.

Lol. Someone described that as nearly pornographic. Not sure what porn they watch but that was 6pm on a Monday stuff.
If it hadn't been spoken about prior I wouldn't see it as I don't have an issue with people being called out. From the little I've played it seems like a game made in 2020 which considering it wasn't is kinda admirable.
Credits were rolling I believe.
