Really stuck with what to do now. Bought a PS3 primarily to play the last of us and the game keeps freezing around 10 minutes into the prologue at this same point. I took the ps3 back into game for a return thinking it was the system that was the problem apparently they tested it and had no problems with the game freezing. So today I've returned the game and got a new copy and its doing the exact same thing. Really don't know whats wrong anyone any ideas?

Tried it with and without patch 1.02

Well I managed to get past the prologue eventually but the sound isn't working correctly cuts out and on one bit the textures didn't even load properly and I fell through the ground.

Just persuade them to replace it, maybe take a vid of the issues. Cant see any reason for it to happen, I presume youve already tried to wipe it or deleted the game data?

Yeah tried everything all the safe mode options and formatting etc. Game are refusing to refund as the have a policy where they wont refund because of problems with the last of us because it apparently has so many issues.

Im not aware of any real major issues with TLoU other than the save issue, Im sure other things would have been mentioned here if they existed so to me that sounds like you are being fobbed off.

I thought even 2nd hand goods had protection under SoGA?

Started playing this again (on the highest difficulty). The game is 100 time more tense than it was in Normal mode.

Ammo is scarce, loads more clickers roaming around.

Average play though is around 15-18 hours depending on difficulty. There is an online mode which personally is brilliant but tbh most won't bother with the online and will just trade it in when completed (unless they want the plat).
