There is no such policy, i know i work there. The store your at is telling you lies.
Take a recording of the issue and show it to them. They will have to give you a replacement or refund!
I havnt had the issue you had but if its such a common fault the items in question are not fit for purpose and as mentioned above you have rights and you are at the very least entitled to a replacement. Get them to test it in front of you if needed.

I finished it. I'm glad it ended where it did. I was beginning to feel it was dragging on a bit. I loved the bow and arrow. That was such a cool weapon even if I kept missing at critical points. Flamethrower for teh win.
I have 3 setups at the moment that I use depending on how I am feeling
#1 Bow + Silenced 9mm - Covert ops 2, Crafting 1 and the one that lets you listen longer and further 1
#2 Silenced Sniper + Silenced 9mm - Marksman 1 covert ops 2 and something else that I cannot remember for the life of me
#3 Semi Auto Rifle + Revolver - Explosives Expert 1, Covert Ops 1 and listening longer and further 1
I tend to end up as either first or second in the match
It is very similar to the single player except its 1 primary 1 secondary per life, You can craft the usual stuff and have to open containers to get crafting materials and can use listen mode but this time it has a limited duration and cooldown. You can assign perks depending on how many loadout points you have left that can increase your listen mode length and distance, craft faster and gift items, start with a shiv and not appear when crouch walking on listen mode etc, It is pretty good but hard if you come across an organised team.
I only really enjoy supply raid which is 4 v 4 with 20 lives shared between the team.
I haven't really given survival a good enough go to comment on how good it actually is. Its basically just 1 life and round based in a 4 v 4 scenario, I guess it promotes better team work but I always found my team mates were retards so I left it and stick with supply raid.

My second trip through on Hard shows me that Normal is the way to go, purely because on Hard the difficulty gets in the way of the smooth flow of the story... for me anyway. But I struggle with controllers so have an unfair disadvantage, suffering from mouse withdrawal!

Have you upgraded your stats? I know I didn't and struggled, but made it through in the end.
Finished my survivor+ run last night. Your really have to plan carefully about tactics and crafting due to the rarity of materials and ammo, but makes it a deeper and more rewarding game, just wish I done my first run on this rather than normal. Time for another short break from the game and then to the multiplayer.

Finding this game tough. Not because its particularly hard but it the tension of not knowing what's coming next. I'm a nervous are wreck. Lol
Relax and deal with what's thrown at you.
I'm lucky as I never get freaked out by these types of games, maybe I'm just emotionally dead or i'm not getting the full experience.
