The Last Of Us

Finished this last night - got about 20 hours from my play-through on hard with all bits turned off, so value for money imo :D

Loved the game, easily the best game of the year so far, I think it even beats the Uncharted series for me, as I loved the end of the world style setting here.

Easily a 10 out of 10 game, and the first game I was more than willing to jump right back into and play through again - might go for hard plus next time, and use my guns more, as I managed to finish up with stacks of ammo for both Ellie and Joel; I didn't even know that you could blow heads and limbs off until last night :p

Man, i must be terrible at these games haha. I've died loads! and thats only on normal! Must be around 5 hours into this and i feel live i've only just started. I'm pretty sure i've completed a COD game on veteran faster than that haha.

Trying to get through again, this time on Hard. Failing! And all this dying is getting in the way of enjoying the plot. I can hear Normal beckoning! But I want to get through on Hard so I can do new game plus on hard with all the kit.

Last of Us... not so much a game, more of an infection!

I bit the bullet and bought it. Absolutely amazing, only about an hour in but gripped already.

Had a little tear in my eye after the first 15 minutes though!

It actually gets much, much better :) One of the few games I've played that starts well and just doesn't stop improving. Just wait until the game opens up properly!

Finished last night, a true masterpiece. Now back to playing games that will just feel sub par in comparison. :(

:( i know that feeling
I've hardly played any PS3 games, and so am relatively lucky because I've got Demon's Souls lined up, and have just been able to start Uncharted. However it's still no substitute for Last. I can't even face going back to Skyrim on the PC, even though I've 'only' logged 79 hours there so far, and have lots more to do.

I do need to wean myself off Last of Us though. Last night at work a bloke behind me started whistling and I almost said "see, you can whistle now!"

Managed to stop myself as my gob opened, but I think it's a sign that I need to back away carefully... crouched, and with a shiv'd melee weapon ready, just in case I need to come back quickly.

I went back to finish off Metro Last Light last night (there's a bit of a mouthfull!!).

Thought it was pretty good (and atmospheric and tense) before playing TLOU, but the last couple of levels after were just "meh". Felt really clunky, cheesy and a bit too "try hard" in comparison.

Thanks Naughty Dog, for ruining the rest of my gaming life! :( :p

:) gg!

All the characters will probably suffer from back pain in later life the way they crouch if its anything like how joel does it lol! I cant walk 5 steps like it! Ive tried!... oh

I cant stop thinking about this game, i have started my survivor run, but it wont be the same
