THE MAGNIFICENT 7: BIG DISCOUNTS ON GRAPHICS CARDS!!

worst case dust I have seen on these forums and I thought I was shockingly lazy lol
You're in luck, I'm going to be adding more RAM to my gf's computer this weekend:

I'm getting tons of sarky comments/abuse on twitter as well. Good job I can laugh it off but still it's a bit OTT!
Don't worry, some people are just jealous and trying hard to find something to bring you down, most high end PCs look just like yours when it comes to dust as the % who use windowed cases and care about what it looks like inside are actually fairly low.

Dust bunny pics are always a good opportunity for jokes. Anyone trying to psycho-analyze it actually reveals more about themself, to be honest.

When I used to go to LANs that was pretty average (and that was probably after some people tried to clean their case up before the LAN LOL). Mines reasonable but even with filters its pretty hard to keep the insides dust free never mind without filters.

Dust lives matter!

But seriously though- some people taking a lot of privileges here assuming who deserves hardware or not.

lol people complaining about dust. I clean my filters every so often when they need it and that's it. Inside the case, not a chance unless it causes an issue (higher temps etc) or if the hardwares out for another reason. People carrying on like the inside needs to be spotless :p, filters do a good enough job of keeping it mostly out. Little bit inside aint going to hurt.

Old card in place, touch dusty!

Removed - kinda fiddly due to layout!

Side by side comparison - legs: models own!

Decided to hook up the power outside the case. Also no need to fit 8 pin plugs as the old cable had 6+2 plugs on!

Plenty of room to spare! :D

Shiny lights! (I can't see them due to case layout/side panel :( )

So yeah pretty happy with that. In benchmarks a roughly 2.5x performance increase!

Think I'll go play Faster than Light now :p

I see people have been having a go at you about dust, I have issues with dust as well

Anyway point of my reply, as I’ve already mentioned I’m thinking about building a matx/itx pc. How easy is the prodigy mitx build in? Would you recommend using a full size gpu or get the “mini” model?

Is there any other itx case you or anyone else can recommend?

I have a mini-ITX case too,and its a pain to take parts out and clean them, and due to their nature they can build up dust quite easily too.
