Heaven Benchmark:

970GTX - Score: 834, FPS Score: 33.1
1080Ti - Score 2310, FPS Score: 91.7

Valley Benchmark:

970GTX - Score: 1482, FPS Score: 35.4
1080Ti - Score: 3619, FPS Score 86.5

Superposition Benchmark: (Shaders & Textures HIGH)

970GTX - Score 1191, Max FPS 10.48
1080Ti - Score 3190, Max FPS 27.67

Superpostion Benchmark: (Textures HIGH, Shaders MEDIUM)

970GTX - Score: 5186, Max FPS 49.13
1080Ti - Score: 14253, Max FPS 141.85

(These setting brought VRAM usage down from 3.6GB to 3.4GB - massive difference to the 970GTX!)
Plenty of room to spare! :D
Shiny lights! (I can't see them due to case layout/side panel :( )

So yeah pretty happy with that. In benchmarks a roughly 2.5x performance increase!

Think I'll go play Faster than Light now :p

Seems about the same speed to me...what upgrade? :p.

Vacuum or however you want to clean your fans and case more regularly! Your hardware deserves it.
 
You guys giving Psy a hard time for his dusty rig - You haven't seen mine :p

I do need to buy some compressed air and give mine a good ol clean out :p
 
Having a mini panic attack here. This v56 is supposed to be RGB but there is an RGB and none RGB version, apparently. I might be wrong I'm only going from one post on reddit but that guys card came from case king.

I have downloaded trixx but I can't see RGB settings anywhere.

Has anyone got the RGB working on the v56 nitro+? I have a bright blue LED card in my red and black themed case...

Edit: My fan surrounds don't light up either, just like the reddit guy.

Some truly OTT claims here.

The only thing with a layer of dust is the fan and heatsink of the gpu.

Which is not surprising.... The case is a BitFenix Prodigy and the GPU stares out of vent holes in the side so it's sucking in unfiltered air and filtering it crudely through its own heatsink.

Hence it looks like a dust filter itself.

I could understand this if it's on show - But this is inside a closed off computer case we're talking about.
 
I'm getting tons of sarky comments/abuse on twitter as well. Good job I can laugh it off but still it's a bit OTT!

Anyhoo you guys can all zip it now - I've just bought a side panel with window (and no vents) to make it look pretty! :D
