I would suggest Utd pick him for the League Cup game vs Burnley as soon as the WC is over just to put him in his place before letting him go on the 1st of January but I can't imagine he'd turn up for the game even if selected.
Look we are 5th ahead of L'pool and Chelsea, who gives a ****.
Look we are 5th? :D

His performance this season doesn't really sell his own argument...had he been carrying the team like he was then it would be harder to disagree with him but right now he is not doing in on the pitch and now complaining like .... a little kid throwing his toys out of the pram.

The team is clearly building for longer than the remaining of his career, he is too big headed now to even see that.

Maybe his complaints will give man u the investment kick up it's arse it needs

It will never happen. Not until the Glazers have gone. I think it is more facilities than the actual stadium that needs improving. They could build over the train line and then you would be easily a 90k seater stadium, nearly a third bigger than any club stadium in England but I do not think it is really needed yet.

Focus on the player facilities first then expand when the winning mentality comes back.

Also at the end of the day I go to a stadium to watch football, not for the "experience" so as long as it is a good atmosphere that is all what really matters.

I get his disappointment though about the club's training and facilities not changing in the time he's been away. You would expect a club like Manchester United, one of the biggest names in the world, to have state of the art facilities.

Also, why can't he speak out? Some of these massive companies that just treat employees like dirt should be held accountable and the bigger the voice the better. Pretty brave of him if you ask me. Some will think he is dirtying their precious club and others will be glad he is calling them out.

Brave? Seriously?

It's unprofessional for starters. How much is he on per week?

Brave?? What has he said (about the organisation) that isn't already known? All he's done is thrown his toys out of the pram.

I wasn't aware until his interview for a start. He has clearly attempted to try and sort out the issues with the club behind closed doors and being ignored he's gone to the media.

I feel like the "toys out of the pram" is so over used these days. People speak out all the time. Fair play to him

Name one senior football player who has conducted such an interview whislt still playing for the club and being their top earner.

I am listening to Piers on Talksport right now. It is almost like he is trying to blame ETH on this. I have never seen the media and press go after ETH like anyone else before. It is almost as if they are scared as potentially Manchester United have found an Elite manager for the future which hasn't happened since SAF retired and everyone wants to ruin him.

-Everyone was questioning Martinez at the beginning and now everyone has egg on their face.
-ETH has dealt with the elephant in the room with Maguire.
-He has handled the Ronaldo situation remarkably.
-If we win our game in hand we are only 2 points off 2nd place and 8 points off the top.

The facts are Ronaldo didn't turn up to Pre-Season, went home early before a game was finished, refused to come on in a game and now this public outburst there is no comeback. Getting rid of 400k a week in wages hopefully means we can get a hungry striker in January.

I bet they are now put in contracts of all players to get permission from the club before doing interviews from now on. So the next guy who does this...gets thrown out the door.

Roy Keane. LOL. People have such short memories and look what happened to him.
When did Keane give an interview like this? The Keane interview that I suspect you're referring to was one for MUTV, analysing a Utd match. Keane has always denied the claims that Utd leaked to the press about what he said and around a year or so ago, Keane along with Neville done a Q&A with supporters where Neville acknowledged that Keane didn't say anything ott in the interview, even stating that Keane had previously been far harsher on his teammates in previous interviews over the years.

Utd stitched Keane up because they wanted to get him out the club.

Fair play...

- He refused to go on the summer training with the squad - publicly tried to engineer a move away - Nobody wanted him, so he came back, first thing he did... had a strop and left the friendly early.

- He then underperforms for months - gets dropped and then throws a strop when the team is doing well without him by refusing to come on and walking out.

- Apologises to get back in the squad and now does this... He's a sociopath and a disgrace of a professional. He's paid 500k a week after tax to perform and he doesn't. In any other industry he'd have been sacked long ago.

He's crying because he made a poor career choice in desperation to leave Juve. His problem isn't that United hasn't moved on X years, it's that under the current change of CEO and Manager that he isn't seen as part of the future for this club and rightfully so.

Ed and Ole should shoulder some of this blame as well - desperately bringing back an aged star for the PR/Marketing and Ole's absolute cluelessness in how to build a squad.

My previous work place had the exact same thing in my contract. Usage of social media or any forms of media to bring the company into disrepute would count as gross misconduct and potential dismissal. I thought this was pretty much common place for most large companies.
