Ducker reporting there is no pay off. Sounds like he agreed with this rather than us having to use legal action.

As I shamelessly steal from reddit, first time he's agreed to do anything with mutual consent

That's good and what I was expecting really, if he wanted a payoff the Glazers could have refused and decided to sue him.

Ronaldo got what he wanted, united played straight into his hands.

What, you mean he got to terminate his contract in a way that will put off any serious club from signing him? Not sure this is the best outcome for Ronaldo personally. He won't get paid what he did at United anywhere else unless he goes to Saudi or somewhere. No top side will touch him. Ruined a lot of peoples opinion of him. Don't think thats a resounding win.

I’d like to think he’s shot himself in the foot and no big club will touch him now. But we all know that’s not true, he’ll go on to a top European club even if it’s a short term deal.

I’m gutted. I was elated when he came back last year, then with the two goals at Newcastle I just thought it was going to be a dream spell, start to finish. But it quickly became apparent he was of the opinion he was bigger than the club and it went downhill second half of last season.

I wish him well but I am glad he's gone. Now we can hopefully sign a striker or two, maybe even three with Martial's injury record. Ohh and if we can also get rid of Maguire in Jan that would be dream transfer window. :)

Today just gets better!

Manchester United Football Club could finally be sold by its American owners after a 17-year reign dominated by fan protests and declining on-pitch performance.

Sky News can exclusively reveal that the Glazer family is preparing to formally announce its intention to examine potential sources of outside investment that could include a full-blown auction of arguably the world's most famous football club.

What is it with these American owners wanting out…

Moments before the announcement that his Man Utd contract had been terminated, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a picture of his new watch. It features an image of him scoring against… Man Utd
