He is innocent and as such deserves a chance to atone for anything he may have done .
Surely if he was innocent, he wouldn't have anything to atone for?

Anyway, regardless of the law, unless it comes out that those recordings were fabricated, he's plainly not innocent in terms of bringing the club into disrepute, which is what matters to hit footballing career.

United should get shot of him on loan somewhere outside the UK and see how he rehabilitates himself.

Technically he has nothing to atone for as he’s not been convicted of anything, he’s now at the mercy of the vigilante social media mob.

Chances are United will get shot as it’s just not worth the hassle. Morals is not so much a problem it’s public opinion, and thats what the issue will be. Money.

Lol Greenwood is a potential 100m player. They will not get rid of an asset just like that. Money talks in this world. He will be playing either a) on loan or b) for the first team. They will put him on some sort of rehabilitation thing and go from there. He is still only 21.

What he has/hasn't doesn't change the fact he has potential to be a generational talent. People forget how good a player he is.

Time will tell I guess. But right now he’s not a 100m player and no one knows if he’ll ever be back to what he was before. It’ll take someone with a huge character to overcome the backlash heading his way.

Ronaldo wasn't convicted of anything, and the 'money' play was probably to hang onto him, were we wrong to kick his ass to the curb?

How players behave matters, they are representatives of the club. They don't need to be convicted of a crime to disgrace themselves and the club.

Very true and the club will deal with it as they see fit.

I hope the young man learns from this experience and if he is what they say he is, then I hope she learns what she needs to learn.

FFS, Marsch has been sacked just before we play Leeds twice. I thought we were going to have 2 nice easy games without Casemiro.

Not thinking about our upcoming games, (lets say we win the next 3 prem) what are your predictions and/or your best out come of results for Man City and Arsenal?

I think Brentford will beat Arsenal, probably a draw though. So I am saying 1 point to Arsenal.
Man city v Villa? Tough one with both teams having the same form (mixture of wins, draws and losses) I am saying draw, 1 point to City.
Arsenal v City. Ohhhh. Going all out on a City win. 3 points to City.
Villa v Arsenal, going with 3 points to Arsenal.
Forest v City? Forest on a run of good form, hard one to decide. Draw? 1 point to City.

With those results in mind, how does the table look?

Arsenal 54 points
Man Utd 51 points
Man City 50 points

Calling it now. Man Utds title...... :D

Those are quite the set of predictions my friend :p

I don't think we will get close to Arsenal this year but fingers crossed we can take City. Will be interesting to see how these current allegations affect Citys performances for the rest of the season.

United aren't going to appeal the Casemiro red. Right decision. Little chance of it being overturned and you never know what the PL will do. They rarely overturn these things regardless of the merit unless they have made a very obvious mistake.

Missing Antony, Martial, Casemiro, McTominay and Eriksen for tomorrows game.

Wonder if Sancho will get a start? I imagine that a midfield of Fred and Sabitzer will start.

Ugh, Qataris are sniffing around :(
Always going to happen. I mean, who else can afford it? We wont end up like City as long as the debts are cleared and investment in stadium and carrington is done, we will be self sufficient. No need to pump a ton of money in to build the squad as we will have more than enough from revenue, just got to be shrewd and get good contracts and wages done, not to over pay.

Of course we can. We just get bent over due to the way we operate. If we stopped paying over-inflated fees we wouldn't get charged them. If we made better plans we wouldn't get fleeced. Prices are based on a power dynamic and we have had a tendency to refuse to pay and then eventually pay or get worried we are going to lose a player so just pay whatever they are asking.
