Apart from Teen Titans Go , so minus the angry, has that premise ever worked with teens or preteens? It feels like the holy grail of failed concepts producers think will win. But maybe I just don't know enough examples.

So far the 'setting up a team' is Ms Marvel (16) and Kate Bishop (23)
Those two are actually good characters IMO.
Can't think of any other young ones that are though
Cassie (Ant-man daughter) was really bland.

The number of screens in the US showing the Marvels has dropped by 25% after just 2 weeks and that loss in potential revenue still hardly effected its awful domestic box office. I mean thats an amazingly poor "return per screen" it's got if it can lose 25% of its potential ability to be shown and yet still have its earnings virtually uneffected, those 1000 screens must have been literally empty!
With it making just $170m after 2 weeks, and very low returns looking probable over the next few weeks, I think those who guessed <$250m will be the closest to winning the "total box office" contest which amazes me as I really did think the International Box Office (UK especially) would be far higher than it has been.

To be fair I find seeing people getting kicked in the balls hilarious but I am childish and a fart, especially a well timed fart, will always have me giggling. I don't own a vagina nor a set of breasts so someone getting hit in those regions gets no reaction from me cause I've no idea how severe it is
Whereas I, and most other guys, know full well how sensitive it is if your nuts are even grazed let alone kicked. That shared experience makes it a bit funnier when you see it on stage cause you wince up at the sight and get to breathe a sigh of relief that it wasn't your jewels getting tagged but you get to see the reaction of a male on stage that you know you'd have been the same had it been your nuts on the line.
Lighten up a bit, it is funny.

More viewership demographics being reported by Indiewire. Looks like "Gen Z" viewership of this film (and Phase 4 in general) has dropped by just over 50% compared to the original Capt Marvel film, meaning younger kids just aren't as interested in the MCU it seems. The numbers are worse for young kids aged 13-17 who made up just 8% of the viewers, which means Marvel just can't create enough "new" fans either, even with a set of younger heroes like Ms. Marvel & Kate Bishop to grab their attention.
So again, making a film for a demographic that just doesn't support you, and pretty much doesn't seem to care about the content you create for them, just isn't a good business decision, no matter how loud a tiny number of them maybe on Social Media with their millions of "impressions" etc.

Hollywood's attitude to their trad fan bases was summed up by GRR Martin's hubristic analysis (pretty sure he was running defense for KK SW at the time) - in summary "fans should just be happy with anything, because they're fans of x, y or z, and what they're getting is more x, y or z, because that's how it used to be"
You'd think he'd know better given the reaction to S8...but no, as usual the rich and over-privelaged think they're entitled to $$$$, loyalty and adoration no matter what rubbish they spew out.
