New Killswitch Engage album is win. I ******* love it :D

DevilDriver are pretty good, I have The Last Kind Words. Definitely a better effort from Dez than Coal Chamber, jesus what a rubbish band :p
 
I find Killswitch albums take a couple of listens to really get into them The Forgotten and Reckoning are my favourites, there's a couple of others but I never looked at the iPod to see the song title. The End of Heartache is still much better though IMO.
 
Never been a massive fan of killswitch, still a little annoyed i missed them at download though. I've acquired some mp3s of quite a few bands that performed ripped from the webcast if anyone wants them, i can email you with the links. :) . Also, just found an awesome melodic power metal band from Japan, Dragon Guardian. Something completely different to what you expect!

I've been a Devildriver fan for years, I just don't like their new album, but it's nice to see that good old internet maturity is still going strong.

Both Killswitch and Devildriver have had good albums up until now, Killswitch's last offering was a bit poor, but wasn't too bad overall. But both their new albums are disappointing imo. Killswitch have become really bland, and Devildriver's new album just sounds too generic for my liking, it has the Devildriver sound, but it's nothing special, it just sounds like they shoved it out as fast as possible without too much effort. Perhaps it'll grow on me after a few listens, but I'm not hopeful :(

Just started listening to divine heresy, loving it. Thanks for the recommend.

Some that I don't think have been mentioned:

Job for a cowboy: deathcore
Despised Icon: grindycore
Parkway drive: name suggests punk band but awesome
Beneath the massacre: brutal

Why don't you like DevilDriver? Is it because they dont have a breakdown in every song or something? ;)

Parkway Drive are the best band out of that lot easily. Despised Icon are good but I can't stand the pig squeals :rolleyes::(

The new DevilDriver songs Ive heard sound way better than the new KSE ones.
