Been listening to Symphony X a lot recently - Paradise Lost has been on the car CD for some time now - some melodic stuff, some fairly heavy - Michael Romeo is an awesome axeman.

Worth checking out :)

*HMPF* Two things have just put me off.... Limp Bizkit get added and get crowbarred into a decent slot and Sylosis are playing Sat.

Still probably worth it to see Metallica, LoG, and MH but meh who knows.

i dont know if ive missed it but im yet to see a mention of Children of Bodom, i think they are one of the best bands ever (hatebreeder is one of my most listened to albums) and its them that really got me into guitar.

Im also a fan of Sinergy a side band of both Alexi and Roope from CoB with a female singer.

also Norther are worth a listen if you like CoB

if its not been mentioned yet i thought i should mention Rammstein are touring the UK now Q1 2010 and i will do everything within my power to attend, i missed there 2005 tour so i wont be this time.

Yea I like Bodom :) Alexi is an insane guitarist.

Trouble !!! amazing band !!! , went to see them support Dio in Manchester back in the early 90's , left promptly when Dio took to the stage :D

must hunt down my tour shirt and find that album ...


been listening to some classic Prong !!!

Yay! Behemoth's new music video was just released:


They are a very good Blackened Death Metal band, well worth a listen.
