So new they sound like a Pantera tribute band..

I assume you do realise that the band has Vinnie Paul as drummer and the singer and guitarist from Mudvayne, one being the former drummer of Pantera and the other two being from a band that was heavily influenced by them??

No I didn't which actually makes it all the more disappointing. Pretty formulaic for a super group, even the name is unimaginative. Doesn't do it for me, sorry.

So my band released our first official single.

here is a lyric video for you to watch.

Not my cup of tea but have to give credit for sounding very professional.

Been listening to Eradikator lately, local band heard in pub one night and love the old school thrash vibe.

'Bleed from Within' have a new album called Uprising that caught my ear on the Radio 1 Rock show with Daniel P Carter.

You'll have heard this type of band before and they don't bring anything groundbreaking to the genre, but what they do, is done with great energy and a nice level of technical skill that doesn't stray into guitarurbation. :p

Worth a full listen :)

Also, this sounded alright on first listen too!

Saw these on Saturday night at Sheffield with my mate and we got chatting to Kirk's wife Robin and because she is really friendly we managed to have a few beers with the rest of the band after the gig. I'm seeing them again in Stoke on friday too!!!

These are best listened to with several subwoofers going (2 or more) just to try and recreate that authentic New Orleans sludge sound! :D

Another new one:

Arch Enemy with their new singer

Will miss Angela Gossow :(
They have Alissa from The Agonist in the band now.
Really surprised at how good she sounds, much better than when she was in The Agonist for some reason
