Just been listening to some old skool stuff on youtube

and who remembers White Zombie's Welcome to Planet ?
 
Just got back from Sonisphere Norway, nice little lineup and weather was great...beer prices make uk festivals look like bargains...

Gojira, were really good and played a decent opening set
Ghost...musically superb, as an act as a whole ok..ish
Mastadon, these guys are getting better and better, played an epic set
Slayer, it's slayer they do what they do and do it we'll
Metallica, By Request made for a rather good set list which they obliterated, to say they were on form is something of an understatement. One of the best performances I've seen them do in a long time, not a bad way to mark the 30th time I've seen them...

I expect il be seeing the guy I know who just recorded some songs with Justin from skith soon il have to ask him how they were :)

Right some proper metal, that babymetal stuff, was just... well, wtf? The music is ok but the vocals? no no no.

Love the blasts at 1:07.... SELL YOUR SOUL!
 
New Origin. Seems quite different to Antithesis and Entity.
New Every Time I Die. New album is a lot heavier than I expected, much more like their early releases.
