Currently playlisting through the whole Nasum catalogue. Shift is such an awesome album, still got my black and gold hoody somewhere. RIP

Also, Jason Richardson's new album gave me the first feels of 2017. Same feels I got when listening to Animals as Leaders for the first time. Really good stuff.

edit: Also a quick shout out to Nothingface and Vacant Stare. Played the crap out of them going through Ocarina of Time back in the day.

Going through OoT again (almost on the Water Temple lol) for the nostalgia before the upcoming Zelda title on the Switch. :p

Still listening to this album over a month after I originally discovered it. Also started listening to the earlier albums and they seem pretty good too.

Prog..

Different

Ahh... and going... :D

17:00.. and 36:53... slow, simple start..

Can't help feeling this is like a Sister's of Mercy/Death Metal hybrid..

New Mastodon. Sounds pretty good, similar to Crack The Skye.

Listened to this and actually quite liked it.

Back in the day I went to Wembley stadium to see Tool, Mastodon where their support act. I didn't really like them. My mate who likes them convinced me to listen to the albums... again but didn't really like it.

However, I went to You Tube to listen to the rest of this album and found out it isn't out until March. But I did find 'Once more round the Sun' which I BLOODY love!

Top notch album!!

Not a huge fan of most modern black metal but this is pretty good.

Used to be a fan of DSHS back in the day but I'm not sure on their new song.

i'm still struggling with this release
do you rate it much

If you're referring to the Mastodon 'Once more round the Sun' then yea it's pretty solid. Nothing extraordinary but decent. Also I am not really a big fan of Mastodon's style so for me to like the album is a surprise to me!

Not my cup of tea but I enjoyed it.

Reminded me of some Mar De Grises and Drudkh.

Wot Drudkh have you listened too

Not bad tho ;)

Feeling old skool 2nite ohhh yea

Great riffs,awful/hilarious vid :D

Ah, Trollech, czech metal :P I got a few albums with them somewhere together with some other czech metal bands. I thought I would try look into czech metal bands before as I love Czech Republic and got quite a few friends from there. Some stuff have been pretty good and some stuff really awful (as with all countries though). Might spend a day or so checking out the stuff again

Some of the stuff I've been listening to lately:

I've had the pleasure to see all of these bands live except Straight Line Stitch.

There's plenty of more than this if anyone likes it :p.
