Im being drawn to one of those sigma 35mm 1,4's , think digital rev looks cheapest for them at £599

Ended up getting the Canon 100m L, thought it'd get more use than the Sigma 35mm. That's going to be next though

Got the Redsnapper RSF-284 and RSH-61 ball head in the end, very pleased with it, nice case as well.

Been considering these for a while. Given Canon's summer cashback, I figured I'd get the flash, and was too tempted whilst there, so figured I'd get the filters anyway (ND grad set).

It's got to the point now where the guys at WeX recognise me. Absolutely grade A service though :S

lol same here was going to order a 430ex and ended up getting a Canon 24-105 F4 L not sure how it happened

need another battery for my 5d mkii whats best place to get a proper canon one :confused:

Well, not having an on-camera flash, I decided I needed an external one xD

I've done a party or two, and decided that whilst I could rely on 1.4, I tended to have to let shutter speed fall a bit too slow for my hand held ability OR boost the ISO slightly higher than I was comfortable with. This way there's no compromise

Also, I'm going on holiday to visit family, and figured it'd be nice to have a flash for some decent pictures of them

Was looking at the very same, with the decent cash back offer from Canon.. Where be the cheapest compliant place to order from ? ...... Not sure I'll use it enough, but I just loaned my 70-300 IS to my daughter.

Yeah I guess the lack of onboard flash kinda forces that decision. Even if the onboard isn't ideal you at least know it's there if you need it

This arrived at work today..

Currently have a D5100 with the 18-105 kit lens which whilst gives good shots is a little lacking in reach. Can't wait to try this new one out.
