Very close to what I've got (although never got round to posting about it in this thread!). I went for the Gitzo 2531EX as I wanted a bit more flexibility with the center column :)

Ended up pairing it with a Photo Clam Pro Gold II Easy PQR Camera Ballhead which works really well.
 
Couldn't decide which 50mm to get.

Had plenty of 50mm F1.8's break on me and produce poor results.

Never really thought the 50mm F1.4 was built well enough to justify its cost.

Said I wouldn't buy Sigma lenses again (old class) even though the 50mm F1.4 looked decent.

arrgh choices choices!!! So I went with the obvious choice.

Ahh very nice! Was just looking into these as my first prime.
