Fuji X-M1 and 35mm. Nice little camera.

Thanks for being so observant, Raymond.

I'll revise the watermark, I never realised that the rules regarding watermarks has changed.

I've seen some people with Facebook name spaces as watermarks, while I get it's not a full URL and therefore allowed, it's still more identifiable than a word/name watermark without a domain prefix. It's pretty obvious that a facebook address will end in .co.uk or .com

Anyways ;)
google my watermark and this comes up lol http://purpleport.com/portfolio/claudiahiltonleft/image/654359/model/?type=latest

Hi all,

I recently got my grubby mitts on an E-M5 and in general I'm extremely impressed with it. However, the often-denounced fn1 and playback buttons are a real pain - I have to form a horrible double jointed thumb-claw to get anywhere near them, or completely shift my grip.

So last night I did something about it - I found a suitably sized bit of rubber in my bits jar (it's the pad off a laptop foot in my case, your bits jar contents may differ!), applied two small blobs of sugru (http://sugru.com/) and left overnight to cure. I can now easily press either button simply by rolling my thumb across the piece of rubber without having to change my grip at all :)

A couple of pictures (you can see a little bit of the yellow sugru sticking out at the edges - it's also available in black which would be almost invisible) -

I'll have to see how long it lasts, but tests this morning seemed promising.

I really want to he Peak Design Capture Clip Pro because I hate straps but can't really justify £70 or whatever they cost. That's half a second hand Samyang 7.5mm fisheye :p

They do look like a good idea, but I can't see myself using one, going to see how I get on with the cuff and order the leash if I like it.

Anyone else with one, do the anchors get any easier to take out (Mines a bit stiff)?

Mmm……not sure, I got the cuff last week, seems stiff to me too. I am sure it will get easier in time with use, but i don't find it that stiff, it reassuringly clips into place and feels pretty solid.

I was hoping the hole to put your hand through the cuff would be a bit bigger, i think its quite small, or maybe my hands are large I am not sure….. :D

I found exactly the same, I thought my hands were quite smallish glad to know others had the same issue, heh.

My new version of the Carl Zeiss 50mm F1.5 C Sonnar T* ZM turned up today.

New Lens - Zeiss 50mm F1.5 C Sonnar T* ZM by jjohnson2012, on Flickr

Its reported to have truly excellent bokeh, so I thought I'd give it a go as my leica lenses are quite hard to beat.

Seems pretty easy to get into focus and its very sharp, although anything that moves slightly is always hard to manually focus on, so some human error will be why I fail to focus properly in the months to come.

Test shot wide open:

Looking forward to getting outside with this, but at the moment its raining :(

Got this a couple of weeks back from LCE, although forgot to post it up. It's a little soft around the corners wide open but is more usable day to day then the 14-24 I was originally going to get :)
