How was your experience with *******?

Remember looking at them when i was going to get a few things but didn't in the end as i thought the prices were too good to be true.

Used the 5D3 yesterday in conjunction with the mkii.

Hmmmmmm, what can I say. i always said the 5Dii was good and it still is but about half way through the day I was finding myself (if i have time) i would put the lens i want to shoot on the mkiii body rather than leave it on the mkii (if it is already on that) and I actually thought the mk3 makes the mk2 feel like a 30D, which I guess has more to do with the AF than anything.

Although I do notice 1 thing, I will need faster cards, it seems to fill up the buffer a lot sooner than the mk2. May be it was the SD card I have in it or something, but that is an Extreme card already which is the same speed as the CF. Odd.

Do you reckon you'll sell your two Mark 2 bodies to fund another Mark 3 or is it nice having 3 bodies for CPS?

The most expensive impulse buy I've ever made. A certain purveyor of almost everything had it priced at £350 cheaper than it's ever been. My wife and I were planning on hiring these for a few weeks for a trip to the USA later this year. If I ever sell it, I could stand to at least break even when considering that rental cost, and I might even make a profit. That said, it's not like these make a daily appearance on the sales forums...

Finally getting my kit back up after a bad year. 7D and 35L arrived this week :)

Main body: 5DII with 35mm f1.4L and 430exII
Secondary: 7D with 85mm f1.4 and 580exII

Then a small selection of zooms covering 10 - 200mm if needed.

Really want to get a 5DIII after using the II and 7D side by side :(

Thank goodness for that. Hopefully this should ease demand for the D800 a little, and hopefully actually put some pressure on Nikon to put prices back where they started...

Edit:

Is that a grey market price?
