The "New Gear/Willy Waving" thread

Bought a m42 3piece extension tube from the camera shop in town whilst waiting for car tyres to be changed. Can now use my old primes to attempt macro photography. Also did a bit of wildlife shooting while walking through the park.

Really needed to take my tripod as trying to take a macro shot while holding the camera, looking at a flower that moves in the wind too....mostly blurry pics xD doh! Next time :p

Though with the 50mm it seemed fine. Tried it with the 35mm back home and it seemed like the object needed to be inside the lens to focus :p

Yeah that's the one! Swansea camera center with the blue olympus sign. I pop in there every few weeks just to have a nose around, though past 3 times I've bought something xD nice bunch of chaps.

After being so impressed with how easy it is to use old manual glass on the 6000, I decided my special lady (Revue Revuenon MC 55mm F/1.2) needed to be used at her native focal length :D

Focus peaking and the focus magnifier means I use my 35mm in manual most of the time, it's really good.

Picked up a copy of this today

Turns out the autofocus for my 24-70 f/2.8 needed a lot of adjustment (-15 at 24mm & -19 at 70mm), would explain a lot (honest guv)
