The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

Thanks :)

Thought you might have to install it manually on the phone via browsing it or something. Much easier this way though, thanks dude ill give it a try

EDIT:

Demo? So is this going to expire or anything?...Apparently its only a 7 day thing...bah, cant buy a keyboard :(

it is a demo yeah.. but i've used mine for more than a week and it didn't expire.. swype is good - if you're only texting in English :)

I've been using JJ9 for a while now with no problems but thought I'd give SS5 a go. The only weird thing is that when I wipe the SD and all my phone data to install SS5, even when it boots, the background image is one I took using my camera and set as background on JJ9 and it seems to remember my WiFi networks. Surely this isn't right? Any ideas?

Also, my facebook contacts won't sync...well the option is not available. Is this because it has been disabled by Google/Facebook now?

Got a couple of questions about phone

Is this phone better than xperia x8 as i looking to replace it for a family member?

Is the typing exsperience better than the xperia x8?(it seems a lot bigger so i hope...)

call quality bad? or just load of rubbish? as i have heard it could be worse than the x8 which isnt good tbh.
thnks

Meh, call quality has been fine for me? Possibilty of people getting bad speakers in a batch or something, can't say i've had an issue.

No idea about the other points though

The typing experience can be customised however you want. Choice of different keyboards, each with their own different settings and workflows.

i have heard its full of the typical orange crap they stick on all their phones it seems, how easy is it to remove it all so that it isnt plastered with orange programmes?

and from this is it easy to unlock for free or best to get orange to do it?

easy to change to stock/clean rom and unlocking takes less than 5mins on your own is as simple as entering IMEI and then entering the generated code into phone..

My dad's old Nokia finally broke! Hurrah and yippee. Not so exciting is the price of the OSF these days, didn't they used to be £69?

Got my dad one last week and now he is a fully converted android nerd :D

swapped from some rubbish LG Viewty thing and my dad got into how to use android very quick. he loves it!

I do love my dad so i made sure i removed the orange crap and installed ginger stir fry before giving it him. I dont want him hating me forever :D
